Festival Contests
This year, the 2025 Florida Renaissance Festival proudly presents a thrilling series of contests that will dazzle, delight, and test the mettle of all who dare to compete! From displays of heroic strength to feats of unyielding creativity, each contest promises to ignite the spirit of the festival in grand style.
Main Objective: Hold a chalice filled with water at arm’s length for as long as possible without spilling or lowering your arm. Your arm must remain extended straight out! Sounds simple, right? It may be tougher than you think! Your goal is to be the last one standing.
Prize: There can only be one winner! The winner will receive a limited edition, exclusive Florida Renaissance Festival x Copa Di Vino Mug and one complimentary ticket to come back for the 2025 Florida Renaissance Festival season! Main Objective: Dress to impress! Dress as creatively as possible to match the current themed weekend! Our judges will be reviewing the time, effort, and creativity put into your costume!

Cheering and showing support for your favorite competitors is highly encouraged, as we believe in fostering an energetic and positive atmosphere. However, we strive to maintain a friendly and healthy competition for all participants and spectators. Any disruptive behavior or inappropriate conduct from the audience will not be tolerated. Those engaging in such actions will be asked to leave the event to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation and enthusiasm!
Kid's Free Admission Weekend!
For the coming 2025 festival season, Weekend One is dedicated to the youth in our community. Not only will the theme be centered around them, but kids (ages 6-11) will be allowed free entry to the festival!
For children to gain free admission into the festival (ages 6-11 only), each child must go to the box office, and pay a $1.50 county park fee. Only then will they each receive a ‘free-admission’ ticket for the festival. No child will be allowed free admission into the festival without the ‘free-admission’ ticket. All kids must be accompanied by an adult. Please be advised that this $1.50 fee goes to Quiet Waters Park. This deal is only valid on Weekend One: February 1st & 2nd, 2025!
Introducing our new Gear Garden (Steampunk-Inspired Area)!
We are thrilled to announce the transformation of our former Biergarten area into a brand-new steampunk-themed area called the Gear Garden! This exciting addition will immerse guests in the imaginative world of steam-powered inventions and Victorian-era charm. The Gear Garden will feature a renovated soda booth, a reimagined pub, and a newly designed stage, all reflecting the intricate and whimsical aesthetics of the steampunk genre. Whether you’re a fan of the genre or just curious, this area will be a unique and vibrant space for all to explore and enjoy at the Florida Renaissance Festival!
Clockwork Quarry Mining Co.
We are excited to introduce a brand-new gem-mining attraction at the Florida Renaissance Festival! This fun, family-friendly experience is perfect for all ages, offering a unique opportunity to pan for gems. Kids and adults alike can enjoy the thrill of discovering hidden treasures, and best of all, you get to take home the gems you find! Whether you’re a seasoned treasure hunter or a first-time explorer, this interactive adventure promises to be a highlight of your festival visit. Come and strike gold (or gems!) at this exciting new addition within our Gear Garden!

This year, we are excited to introduce our new Florida Renaissance Festival Awards! We aim to celebrate and showcase the incredible dedication and creativity of those participants who go above and beyond in their category! These awards will highlight the participants who excel in areas such as craftsmanship, innovation, and overall presentation, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the festival experience. By honoring their outstanding efforts, we aim to inspire continued excellence and enhance the festival’s vibrant marketplace for all. You, as patrons, will be able to vote for your favorite vendors this season, making your voice heard in selecting the best of the best! From artistry to customer service, your votes will help determine the winners of some of these prestigious new awards.
