        Volunteer Information

To all returning volunteers, thank you once again for all your energy and dedication during last year's Festival. HUZZAH!! To all potential volunteers, welcome and get ready to enter an extremely interesting, innovative and definitely distinctive realm! Volunteers are the heart, sweat and soul of the Festival joined together by a common passion for the Renaissance period, its history, festivity and customs.

This year we are asking volunteers back in specific assignments. This way people can get to know each other and work together cohesively as a group. Positions are based on experience, interest and availability.

The Festival begins February 11th this year and is continuing until March 12th, 2006 & includes Monday, President's Day Feb. 20th. Hours will be the same as last year; 10AM-Sunset.

While most people will be working a full day shift; 9:30am - 6:00pm, half day shifts are also available; 9:30am - 2:30pm or 1:30pm - 6:30pm. On school days, there will be only 1 shift; 8:30am - 3:00pm.

We will also be open for schools Wednesday Feb 8th & Thursday Feb 9th, from 9:30am - 2:30pm only. We really need your help on School Days!

Please plan on making your own costume and headpiece. We have a limited number of costumes available to loan (refundable deposit required).
