Travel back to the 16th century through art, music, educational lectures and demonstrations of period trades, over 100 artisans exhibiting period crafts and wares, dozens of eateries and pubs, and a colorful Kids Kingdom play area. With its many unique inclusions, the Florida Renaissance Festival is the perfect family destination.
Eighteen years ago, Bobby Rodriguez began "Making History Come to Life" with a one weekend event. Since that time, the Florida Renaissance Festival has grown into one of the country's longest and best attended events of its type.
Now five full weekends, this unique Festival has gone on to win numerous local and national awards and has set a standard of excellence by its unwavering commitment to quality. In addition, the festival has grown to include a Second Performance Location for the first time ever, at Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Miami for 3 enchanting weekends. This commitment to quality extends to our sponsors. We never minimize their importance, nor do we underestimate the need to assist our sponsors in achieving their marketing goals. That being the case, we use general guidelines to customize packages that are commanding, compelling and clear.
The location of the festival is also a tremendous benefit for potential sponsors as marketing efforts expand throughout all three counties.

Florida Renaissance Festival
A Responsible Community Partner

As a proud member of the South Florida community, the Florida Renaissance Festival has always endeavored to support non-profit organizations in their various important missions.

In our 18 years, the Florida Renaissance Festival has donated dozens of auction items to organizations such as the American Red Cross, Gateway Community Outreach, Kids in Distress, the March of Dimes, Winterfest Ball, Rotary Club charities, Hollydogs Greyhound Adoption, Sun-Sentinel Children's Fund, and many others. We have also created unique opportunities for non-profits to raise cash such as the "Wishing Well" that benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Broward County. We routinely offer non-profits the opportunity to have a discounted or free space in our prestigious Corporate Row. We have also created an educational and interactive Renaissance Patch Program for the Girl Scouts program. Since then, we have given out over 3500 patches to scouts from all over the state. We have also hosted charity groups at the Festival such as the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

In addition, each year we donate cash to several local non-profits. Past recipients include the James Jr. Fund, A Child Is Missing, Prestige Club and the Light of the World Clinic. We also participate in local events such as the Toys in the Sun Run Benefit. A food drive to benefit Here's Help and The Billy Raven Foundation to help local families in need.

There is no other South Florida event who can boast attendance figures from all 3 South Florida counties!
