International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) Announces
2005 Pinnacle Award Winners


Boise, Idaho (September, 2005) - The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) paid tribute to the The Florida Renaissance Festival and the Cajun-Zydeco Festival - produced by Bobby Rodriguez Productions on September 14th, 2005 during the IFEA's Miller Brewing Company Hall of Fame Luncheon held at the IFEA's 50th Anniversary Reunion Convention & Expo, in San Antonio, TX - September 12-16th, 2005, where they were presented with three awards in the prestigious IFEA/Haas & Wilkerson Pinnacle Awards competition. Awards were won in the following categories: Bronze Award for Best Photo for the Florida Renaissance Festival in the budget category of 1.5 million and above. A Bronze Award for Best Poster for the Cajun-Zydeco Festival in the budget category of 500,000 or less and a Bronze Award for Best T-shirt for the Cajun-Zydeco Festival in the budget category of 500,000 or less.

The professional competition drew 1,510 entries this year from among the world's top festivals and events. "This prestigious awards competition recognizes the highest degree of excellence in festival and event promotions, and in doing so, has raised the standards and quality of media promotions industry-wide," said IFEA President & CEO, Steven Wood Schmader, CFEE.
