DEERFIELD BEACH, FL (February 21, 2006) – The Florida Renaissance Festival, which opened on Saturday, February 11 at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach recently donated $5,000 to the Sun-Sentinel Children’s Fund. “We are excited about contributing for the first time to the Sun-Sentinel Children’s Fund, as they serve children all over South Florida. We feel it’s important to give back to the community that supports our success year after year,” said Executive Producer Bobby Rodriguez. The 14th annual production of one of the premier Renaissance Festivals continues weekends through March 19. Tickets are $20 for adults and $6 for children 5-12. Children under 5 are admitted free. The Florida Renaissance Festival hours are 10 am – 6 pm Saturday’s and Sundays weekends through March 19.
