13^th Annual Renaissance Festival Continues With A Wine and Food Weekend Theme

 

Admission Special: Bring 5 canned or dried food items to the box office and receive $3.00 off one adult ticket. All food collected will be donated to Gateway Community Outreach. Offer valid Saturday, February 26 and Sunday, February 27 only.

 

Special Appearance by Jacques & Dom, The French Chefs. - Jaques & Dom will enhance your dining experience. The Asse Brothers are sure to delight as the serve up smiles spiced with laughter and just a touch of bawdiness. These two silly side dishes go perfect with wine through your nose. Bon A petit!  The French Chefs will appear at various times through the weekend.

 

WHAT: Third weekend of the 13^th Annual Florida Renaissance Festival:

Including 16^th century activities such as: 

 

*           Knights in full armor JOUSTING and SWORD FIGHTING

 

*           BIRDS of PREY - in full flight by a Master Falconer

 

*           TWELVE STAGES - with continuous entertainment  

 

*           Hundreds of costumed PROFESSIONAL PERFORMERS – including King Henry the VIII and his first wife Queen Katharine of Aragon.

 

*           Over 120 ARTISANS - demonstrating, exhibiting and selling their wares including fairies, swords, authentic Renaissance attire including hats, crowns, fairy wings and more…

 

*           Delicacies of the Middle Ages to tempt the palate - FOOD FIT FOR A KING, turkey legs, yards of ale, pretzels, pickles and kabobs.

               

*           MEDIEVAL GAMES – including cross bows, darts, catapults, “bump a monk”, life size chess set, Jacobs Ladder archery, a maze, spooky grave yard and more….

               

*           KID’S KINGDOM - educational demonstrations, competitions and exhibits and the World’s

Largest Rocking Horse.

 

WHEN: February  26, 27 & March 5, 6, 12, 13, from 10 am to sunset; including Monday President’s Day Feb. 21^st.

 

WHERE: Quiet Waters Park in the City of Deerfield Beach. Hillsboro Blvd. and Powerline Rd.

 

PRICES: Adults - $17.50 Children (5-12) - $6.00  Under 5 – FREE.

King Henry’s Feast – gourmet 5 course meal with King Henry the VIII and Queen Katherine of Aragon - $63, includes unlimited food, beer, wine, mead and entertainment. Served daily at noon.
